SmartphoneAwards.com is the most complete public archive of MKBHD's annual Smartphone Awards — every winner, runner-up, and award category, going back to 2014. We add editorial coverage (reviews, comparisons, buying guides, listicles) anchored to those award outcomes so buyers can make decisions backed by 12 years of consistent editorial scoring.
We don't fabricate awards or scores. Every "Awarded Best X" badge on this site links back to the actual MKBHD award the phone won.

Editorial principles
- Anchor to MKBHD's awards. Our editorial scores derive from MKBHD's award outcomes. Phone of the Year winners earn 5/5; category winners 4.5/5; runners-up 4/5. We score new phones not yet covered by the awards on merit, but our anchor is the award archive.
- Disclose affiliate relationships clearly. Every page that contains affiliate links also contains a clear disclosure. We earn a commission on purchases via our links — at no extra cost to you.
- Don't fabricate. We never invent award outcomes, ratings, or specs. Every claim links back to source data — MKBHD's award videos, manufacturer specs, or our own editorial.
- Update regularly. Listicles are reviewed quarterly; reviews are updated when major firmware updates change a phone's capabilities; "best of" lists re-rank when new winners launch.

SmartphoneAwards.com is written by a small editorial team that has been covering smartphones since 2018. Reviews and comparisons are written by team members who have tested the phones in question for at least two weeks. Listicles are reviewed by at least two editors before publication.
